The Management Challenge: Allied Bakeries required a multi-million-pound redevelopment of their West Bromwich site to significantly increase capacity. The project involved installing a new 20,000-roll-per-hour plant, two 80-tonne flour silos, and a new distribution system within a live factory environment. The critical challenge was executing this extensive installation without disrupting continuous, high-volume production operations.
