Crossing the Finish Line for a Great Cause

At Legacy Manufacturing Solutions, we believe in the power of community and the importance of supporting those who serve. That’s why we were honoured to support Sam Halford on his incredible London Marathon journey.

We committed to a pound-for-pound match for every bit of sponsorship Sam raised, and today we are proud to announce a total donation of £2,680! Combined with his other fundraising efforts, Sam raised a staggering £5,335 for the Army Benevolent Fund.

The Army Benevolent Fund is the Army’s national charity, providing a lifetime of support to soldiers, veterans, and their families. Their funding helps:

• Providing a lifeline: Funding everything from specialist counselling and mental health support to mobility equipment and home care, ensuring our veterans can live with the independence they deserve.

• Support for life: From helping serving families cope with sudden bereavement or traumatic loss to supporting older former soldiers and their widows or widowers who may find themselves isolated and lonely, we ensure help is there for soldiers for life.

• Making a difference: For those veterans facing financial hardship, support to pay for urgent repairs, essential groceries, or employability training helps them transition to civilian careers.

Sam, it was an honour to match your pace (financially, at least!) in the London Marathon – well done!
